| BOYS TENNIS PROGRAM 2010/11
Boys interested in joining the high school tennis team need to commit to the sport in the off season. Boys should be playing in the off season and taking lessons in order to improve their game. Team members need to have two strung rackets, tennis shoes, a commitment to be present at all practices and matches and to follow the rules given at the start of the season. In order to make varsity, players will need at least 10 tournament results; this includes returning varsity members.
TRYOUTS: Monday, Feb. 14, 2011 & Tuesday Feb. 15, 2011, 3:00 PM at high school tennis courts.
REGULAR SEASON: Scrimmage Monday, Feb. 28, 2011; First Match Tuesday, March 1, 2011; Practice Wednesday, March 2, 2011
PRE-SEASON: See Laguna Beach City Parks and Recreation schedule for seasonal tennis programs.
PARENTS MEETING: Tuesday, February 15, 2011, 6:00 PM, meeting place at LBHS to be determined.
POST SEASON: No postseason play planned.
END OF SEASON PLAYOFF INFORMATION:
a. League finals to be announced.
b. CIF preliminaries to be announced.
c. CIF finals to be announced.
d. Individual sectionals to be announced.
